Cross-flow unit for microfiltration of wine

Our unit WFU-2 is designed for removal of turbidity and for microbial stabilization of wine. The unit contains two membrane modules (each 9,1 m2) made of polymeric material and it is designed for filtration of small batches of wine. The filtrate flow is between 500 and 3000 l/h. It is placed on a mobile frame for easier moving.
The unit is equipped with simple control system using programmed PLC and a touch screen for process monitoring. The system allows change kinds of operation – automatic/manual, set the limit and operating values of flow, pressure and temperature. Further it is possible to display the chart of filtrate flow trend in time.
This unit ensures easy sanitation of whole system.
On our unit is used special type of pump which causes lower strain of wine.
The unit includes tank for backwash and CIP.
It is possible to run modules separately one for white and the second for red wine or booth modules together to achieve higher filtrate flow.
